Dr. Ezell (LOVE HIM) said that I made huge progress from last week. Week 36 I was 50% effaced and not dilated and the baby's head was higher. This week I had some progress. The exam was pretty painful, but not as bad as I remember with Karmella. He said it is painful because the baby's head is so low. He said he could feel the top of Cruz's head (weird). The baby's head is at a +1 station, which means he has dropped a lot. The stations go from either a -3 to a +3, with -3 meaning crowning and a +3 meaning the baby hasn't dropped at all. It's hard to speculate when the baby will come, as I could begin contractions today or it could still be another 2 weeks! Who knows. We are ready for whenever he comes. If I could have it my way I would want him to come when I'm 39 weeks (week of May 29-June 4). That would really work best with my work schedule, Cruz, so if you could go ahead and come that week, that'd be great!!
Group B Strep results were negative.
